This is one of my favorite recent subway drawings. It’s part of a series of thumbnails for a larger project. An imaginary 1915. A seaside. Winged snakes and lizards.
I’ve been doing all kinds of experimentation in photoshop recently. Case in point, I made this. I’ve been playing around with salvaging my sketchbook drawings, as I think lots of the things I do in pencil have so much more life in them than my finished work. I’ll probably add some color to this at some point.
All of my ideas, visually, about the French Revolution are filtered through WWI poster art.
I have a design up on Threadless, available to be scored. As my ability to draw and paint surpasses my graphic design abilities by about a million, I’m a little worried it won’t fare very well. Please dear friends and fans, vote big and vote often.
